The Project: The Blogs & Social Media Forum was a gathering of almost 200 people on 17th May 2006 to talk about the practical applications of social media tools and technologies. The conference aimed to open up the traditional format for such events to reflect the sociable nature of the subject matter.

What we did: Lloyd Davis served on the advisory panel for the conference.  We recorded all the sessions for VNU to provide to participants and others as a podcast. We also interviewed some participants on video for the conference blog and shared still images through flickr. Lloyd also interviewed three of the speakers for pre-conference podcasts and he facilitated the Open Space session just before lunch.
